porcelain veneers

Sometimes your teeth need repair or whitening, but whitening doesn’t work on all teeth and chipped teeth don’t always get the attention they need.  That’s where porcelain veneers come in. Porcelain veneers are thin shells made to cover the surface of teeth. They can fix what tooth whitening can’t and smooth teeth that have bumps or dents.  If the discoloration in your teeth isn’t caused by surface stains or you have misshapen, misaligned, or uneven teeth, veneers may be right for you.
Take the first step and make an appointment with our Palm City/Stuart offices.  When you do, we’ll sit down with you to discuss your best options for veneers to create the smile you’ve always dreamed of having.
As preparation for your new teeth, your dentist will remove a tiny layer of enamel from your teeth - about the same thickness as the veneer.  Then a model is made of the teeth that will be covered and sent to a dental lab to custom create the veneers.
Once those veneers are complete, your dentist will ensure that they are the right size and fit and will trim as needed. Then, your veneers are applied using a special cement.  Once in place, a special light is used to harden the cement, bonding the veneers to your teeth and your dentist will check over the results, making any necessary final adjustments.
Because we want to provide you with the best care possible, you may be asked to make a follow-up appointment to see how the veneers are sitting and how your gums are reacting to the veneers.
You deserve the best smile possible and the dentists at our Palm City/Stuart offices want to help you get it.  Give us a call and schedule your appointment today.
